Serviceable System Disclaimer

The Decoy Doctor is designed to be a serviceable and maintainable system. Routine inspection, maintenance, and occasional replacement of wearable components are expected parts of ownership. Customers should be willing to become familiar with how the system is assembled, how to inspect it, and how to perform basic maintenance and component replacement when needed.

The system is intentionally designed around replaceable components and readily available parts so most routine maintenance and repairs can be completed by the owner. Instructions for inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing are provided in the current Decoy Doctor Product Manual and supporting resources available on our website.

Custom Installation Service

By requesting a custom installation, you are asking Biskit Built 3D, LLC to install a Decoy Doctor system on a decoy using the options and components selected on your installation request. Having the installation completed for you does not remove the responsibilities of ownership described above.

Each installation is built to the requested configuration, function-tested, and leak-tested before delivery.

Workmanship & Customer Responsibility

We stand behind the workmanship of each custom installation and the parts we manufacture, as outlined in our published warranty policy.

Customers should perform their own inspection, function test, and leak test promptly upon receipt and before field use. If an issue is found, contact us promptly so we can evaluate, troubleshoot, and correct any covered workmanship or warranty-related problem.

After delivery, routine inspection, maintenance, servicing, operation, charging, storage, and safe handling are the customer's responsibility. Damage or failure caused by impact, gunfire, misuse, modification, normal wear, lack of maintenance, improper handling, or continued use after damage or water intrusion is not considered an installation workmanship issue.

Components & Compatibility

Customers may supply their own decoy, pump, and battery or request that we supply those items as part of the installation. All components used must be compatible with the Decoy Doctor system.

If supplying your own pump or battery, please use one of the currently recommended options shown in our Amazon storefront, or contact us to confirm compatibility before ordering or shipping components to us.

Third-party components not manufactured by Biskit Built 3D are not covered by our workmanship or product warranty. Any manufacturer or seller warranty is subject to that company's terms and may not transfer when we are the original purchaser.

Any product documentation, labels, manuals, or other identifying information that accompanies a pump or battery will be returned or provided to the customer with the completed installation, regardless of whether the component was supplied by the customer or by Biskit Built 3D. Customers should retain this information so they can identify the exact components used and reference the manufacturer's instructions, specifications, and warranty information when needed.

Battery Safety

Customers are responsible for understanding and following the safe-use requirements associated with lithium-ion batteries. Always follow the battery manufacturer's instructions for charging, storage, handling, and safe use.

Assumption of Responsibility & Release

By accepting the completed installation, the customer acknowledges that the Decoy Doctor is a serviceable, battery-powered system intended for use in wet environments and accepts responsibility for its proper operation, inspection, maintenance, servicing, charging, storage, and condition after delivery.

The customer agrees to follow the Decoy Doctor Product Manual, applicable manufacturer instructions, and the responsibilities outlined in this agreement. The customer assumes the risks associated with the operation and use of the system and accepts responsibility for loss, damage, or failure resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, improper handling or charging, modification, physical damage, water intrusion, normal wear, third-party component failure, or continued use after a known problem or damage is discovered.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the customer agrees to release and hold harmless Biskit Built 3D, LLC from claims, losses, or damages arising from the customer's operation, maintenance, modification, misuse, or failure to properly inspect and maintain the completed decoy, including damage or failure associated with third-party components.

This release does not limit the workmanship or product warranty coverage specifically provided under our published warranty policy.
