⚠️ Battery Disclaimer & Fuse Use
All 12V lithium-ion batteries are selected for size, performance, and compatibility and feature a built-in BMS (Battery Management System). Though a BMS provides internal protection against overheating and short circuiting, battery failure is still possible — including risk of overheating or fire. A properly rated inline fuse on the positive battery lead is a commonly accepted safety measure in 12V DC systems. We do not include a fuse by default as we believe the BMS provides sufficient protection based on our own in-house testing and field use, but one can be added by request.
It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and follow safe battery handling, fuse placement, and wiring practices. Our systems are based on in-house testing and practical knowledge and have not been certified to commercial standards.
By using this system, the customer assumes all risk and releases Biskit Built 3D, LLC from liability for battery failure, wiring faults, or misuse.
